CollegePads Accessibility Statement

At CollegePads, we are committed to ensuring that our services are accessible to all individuals, including people with disabilities. We strive to align our digital platforms with recognized accessibility standards, such as WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and applicable accessibility laws, including the ADA.

Our services are designed to be compatible with commonly used modern web browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and operating systems (including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android) across desktop and mobile devices.

Our Accessibility Practices

Accessibility requirements are integrated into our design and development processes (where applicable):

You are responsible for both:

  • Supporting screen readers, keyboard navigation, and other assistive technologies.
  • Providing text alternatives (alt text) for images, media, and non-text content.
  • Undergoing accessibility evaluation using industry-standard testing tools as part of our onboarding process.
  • Incorporating accessibility best practices into our design and development processes.

Accessibility considerations are incorporated into product updates and enhancements through established internal review processes.

Independent Accessibility Review

We have engaged an independent third-party accessibility auditor to evaluate our platforms against WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. This assessment will support the development of an updated Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) documenting our conformance status. We will use the findings from this review to prioritize remediation efforts and strengthen our accessibility controls.

Disclaimer

CollegePads is aligning its platforms with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. While accessibility requirements are integrated into our current design and development processes, certain legacy components may not fully conform to these standards. Identified issues are documented, prioritized, and remediated through our established product development lifecycle.

Third-party content or integrations may be subject to separate technical constraints.

Ongoing Review and Improvement

Accessibility is incorporated into our broader compliance and product governance framework. We periodically review our platforms, evaluate user feedback, and implement updates as part of our standard development lifecycle.
